EV Match Maker runs in your browser. It has no accounts, no cookies and no advertising, and it doesn't send your settings to any server.
Your location
Sharing your location is optional. You can pick a spot on a map or set everything up by hand instead.
- If you choose Use my location, your browser asks for permission first.
- The point you share or pick is rounded to about 1 km and sent to BigDataCloud's free lookup service, only to find your town, state or province.
- If your browser won't share its location, the same service estimates your city from your internet connection.
- Your location is used to pick your units, currency and local average prices. It isn't stored on any server by this site.
Your settings
Your inputs (rates, distances, charger, budget, filters and the place you chose) are saved in your browser's local storage, on your own device, so they're there when you come back. Nobody else can see them. To clear them, use Start over at the top of the site, or clear this site's data in your browser.
Visitor statistics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page loads. It uses no cookies, doesn't track you across sites and doesn't collect personal information; it reports only totals, such as how many people visited and from which countries.
Other services the page loads
Like most websites, the page loads some files from other companies' servers. Each of them receives your IP address and basic browser details when it does:
- Map images from Stadia Maps, based on OpenStreetMap data.
- Map software (Leaflet) from Cloudflare's cdnjs.
- Fonts from Google Fonts.
- Vehicle photos from each manufacturer's own website.
Their own privacy policies apply to what they receive.

Links to manufacturers and other sites open those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
